I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Remembering A True Veteran Named Lyle B.
Through the many years of wanting to be in the Armed Forces I had to settle for being a civilian.
I wasn't military material for any shape or fashion.
But there is one such veteran named Lyle B., who is special.
He enlisted in the Armed Forces some years ago and is no longer there.
But he gave of himself to his country and is a shining example of what a man in the military is and should be.
I am so pleased of knowing him and the love he had for me as a brother and friend.
Though he is no longer here with us in person he still has a place within my heart for all time.
May the Lord add His blessings to Lyle B. for being the man he was and remains to be; within my heart.
I have been acquainted with many service personnel and have a love for all of them but for Lyle B, it is something more profound that a mere love.
