To Glorify God
To glorify God
and enjoy Him forever,
God who created us for himself
such that our hearts are restless
till they find their rest in Him.
How shall we glorify Him
who is so glorious in Himself?
By recognizing that Thou, Oh Lord
are our creator and we were
made in Thy image
with minds and hearts and souls
with which to love Thee
and acknowledge Thee
in all our ways, and
that we should love
our neighbors as ourselves,
That God's Wisdom is such
that all those who hate Him, love death,
that God so loved the world
He gave his only begotten Son
that all who believe in Him
should have everlasting life,
some should plant and some water
so He would give the increase.
Some have one talent,
some a different ability
but all should be
members of one body
working together,
rejoicing in the Lord
and glorifying Him.
