You came into he heart on a breeze,
Like a feather you landed on her nose,
And no matter what fate befell them,
They're in each heart, each silken rose.
Broken dreams, shattered promises,
Why is life so hurtful and sad?
What did she do in her life…?
That it burdened her with a life so bad.
Her heart cried out in the wilderness,
Like the darkness of the night,
The light of her life is distinguished,
Vanished, gone out of sight.
Broken dreams, shattered promises,
Just like her heart so fine,
And just like the never ending sea,
She now lives in the barren sands of time.
Her pain is deep and gaping wide,
Why did you break her heart?
For therein lies a hole so big,
You killed it when you decided to part.
Broken dreams, shattered promises,
Why did you hurt her so bad,
You broke her heart, shattered it…
And made her so very sad!
All she wanted was to have you back…
And settled inside her heart,
She loves you, she always will…
You didn't have to part…
She has never had true love in her heart,
She has never felt a love so strong,
She has never been broken, as she is now,
She has never pained…what was so wrong?
Her heart cried out to the wilderness,
Her fate is in your hands,
Her life is yours, will always be so,
Her life will live in the barren lands…
Broken dreams, shattered promises,
Her life will never be the same,
For her heart will always be broken,
Until you return to her once again!
She will never heal that heart of hers,
She didn't want you to go away…
She never thought she'd lose you,
She never thought she'd see that day.
But she lost you, she truly did,
And she didn't know what to do?
You were her life, her, everything,
Only You, Only You, Only You!
But I told her one day it would happen,
That she would meet Mr. Right one day!
And her life would start all over,
But she didn't believe what I'd say!
But I know I am right!
She just needs to see it.
There is more to life than one man,
And that man was no good for her!
One day, she will see it, just you wait!
