A Home I Fondly Remember

The home was a five room house.
There was love everywhere you would care to be.
It was on North 20th Street where we lived.
I was at the age of ten years.
The life we had seemed so simple.
There were no difficulties of any kind.
Everything was as it  should have been.
Love was the main ingredient there.
Our parents loved us and we loved them.
I say we for there was my older brother and myself.
Our years of growing were mainly done; in this home.
I love to remember the joy that was felt with each thing we did.
Happiness was ours most of the time.
We had our wants for Christmas time.
And what a wonderful thing it was for celebrating the holidays.
Memories are made of these times and for the better.
