Poetic Verses

Where Are My Rights?

The stalkers hide out of my view
and have not paid for what they do.
In my life there will be fights
to legally reclaim my privacy rights.
I do not know where I should go
to report the intrusion of a foe.
My stalker hides in his place
and haunts me from cyberspace.
Proof is hard when they are wise
and they live on old spoken lies.
I have not been given the choice
nor has my side had a voice.
Permission does not come free
and no document was signed by me.
My legal rights are buried deep
by those who lie and quietly creep.
There is no justice in broken laws
and the legal system has its flaws
The actions of the out of sight
are not legal or are they right.
A stolen identity in the past,
nobody came to me and asked.
What has happened to my rights
when the unseen has websites?
I have no knowledge of their game
or the stories that they claim.
Nobody believes me when I say
that there is a stalker hidden away.
They don't know somebody is there
and that they follow me everywhere.
May there be good legal ways
to fight the stalker of these days.
If the problem is my own
don't talk for me amid the unknown.
I don't know what I did wrong
to make evil people tag along.
I was never there to understand
and I didn't show a welcome hand.
I will be ready for future fights
against those who take my rights.
They have no say over me
in the United States where I am free.
I cannot hear words in my head
or the excuses they have said.
I refuse to be victim to their lies
even if the law gives way to spies.
What makes me the important one
when their excuse is overdone?
I am not smart enough to care
or understand the world out there.
I do not have the frame of mind
to give a chance to the unkind.
What is real and what is not
keeps a stalker from being caught.
I should have the right to say
That those who watch must go away.
