Some say that virtue is it's own reward..
Slave, turn away from sin..
If God tells the truth, then all men lie..
Vipers and vermin--why is this allowed..
Is it for man to be trapped and in return
expect a guilt-ridden pardon a tear soaked plea..
If all the pain is taken away, would this not be paradise..
When you would have religion removed from the non-Euclidean form of geometry and so fix
your mind..Without doubt or lacking sincerity that all science is maddening..
and that faith leads you down a blind alley..to know what it is to be a saint..
one must know what it is to sin..That in order for a maiden to hold quick to her virginity..
She must experience vice and lower herself to all kinds of baseness--
That Hell's own fire burns brightest with the sulfurous hypocrites..
A polished surface blinds the minds-eye and still we cherish..a dream..a landscape..
That weighs heavy as we age..and is taken for granted by the youth of today..
Children at play make-believe and their magic holds true to their beliefs..
Without so much argument..So they make a wish and hope it's granted..and better still..
they all know it's make-believe..remember when you had tea..out of little cups and little saucers..
Wasn't it nice to pretend you were the Queen of England or the Grand Duchess of Germany..
It's funny to me that Adults have to be reminded of what children see..
Playing dress-up and taking on airs of fancy..Coming home after work, "Honey, where's my meatloaf?"
Chasing after one dream to another..The so-called human rat race..Prove me wrong..is it the rat
that eats the Lion, or is it the other way around..? He that avoids temptation the longest..
has a strong will?..or a strong lack for not living his life well--
Pious falsehoods and wrong turns, down play each and every wrong doing--
That sin and sinners, and cardboard cut outs of priests and ministers..
That we're really all one in the same..And the worms feast the same, on atheists or believers..
To the worms we're just another meal..~~the end
