I died once--
and again I tried..to reach the other side..then my reality collided with my fantasy..
It caused a rip in the atmosphere a tear in the air split inside other dimensions..
And I swear I could look into the great vastness the immense void that some call space
and some people try to avoid..saying, "There's some places that Men don't belong.."
I must admit, maybe they're right..and maybe I'm wrong..But, still being a child at heart..
that always does the opposite of what one was told..like stealing candy from the neighbors baby
and claiming, "I don't know..wasn't me, but, excuse me please, 'cause I've gotta go.."
To see the sunshine at 4 am and not know what time of day it is..It's so strange to comprehend..
With love you can accomplish many things..site unseen, but, still we can pretend..
And so I fell asleep on a freshly turned grave, I was feeling kind of sick to begin with and
that's where I laid..I could feel something pulling at me beneath the Earth, stone and clay..
Like a soul reaching out to me and wanting to be me, if only for a little while..to possess
my body..or, to welcome me..rather like a vampire, that really needs some company..on the
pretenses of dinner, wine and a really good movie..Only to find out..the joke was on me..
the evenings revelry had changed the whole course mid-stream..to be without a paddle,
if you know what I mean..Seeing is believing..but, the blind know better, if we could hear what
we've been missing..so much for the penitent soul when he gets stuck in the elevator..
Don't say I didn't warn you..You never learn much, if you run and hide..Truth is fact, as strange
as fiction..darkness is the fog, that allows us to run naked in many directions..For there's
no sin..in a future-less world..No God or government..for the rain falls gently on the street..
and with it washes away the pain..Poisoned Violets of disarray, lay scattered on your grave,
they are there to remind you of your misspent youth of yesterday..~~the end
