I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Strike Up the Band
There is a song by the same title as this piece.
It is a special call for many to enjoy the music they hear.
There is a sense of happiness and wonder in hearing music that is set apart from other things.
May we be cognizant and purposeful; in all we do to bring music to our lives.
For music is a language that is free of boarders and time.
It is something most comforting to hear as it is played and sung.
Strike up the band and make it a time of being joyful.
Knowing as you do the Lord will be pleased and magnified as He should be.
Give credence to the thought of having music inside of your heart to sing and play.
If you don't know how to play learn and you will be happier because of it.
I had to teach myself how to play the keyboard and I love to read the music.
There is a special joy accompanied with striking up the band.
May you find it in yourself to do that and enjoy life as we know it.
