Some days I'd like to make love to the world--
Other days--I'd see it burn to a cinder..
Heart's doors, open and close..you can look inside
if only for a little while and still not know
the meaning nor the measure..
although cleansed as it can be and infinite are the possibilities..
and to know that 1+1=3..People run and hide from Life--given the opportunity..
There are times, again, I would mention to you..That it's better to belong
to something or someone..than not to have lived a Life that's remembered..
It's been said, that Life's very fleeting and soon you're dead..
Many hearts go bleeding from a loneliness that bares not repeating..
To touch and be touched, to share a Life, hold hands and walk through the flames..
Simple minds with simple meaning..the poor the rich the common denominator is
that although unbeknownst to you, we're really just walking fertilizer..
Some souls make a greener lawn and some make an even greener pasture..
Be kind to one another..and take kindness from others when offered..
Keep in mind, when you fix your stare..you can only look so long at the Sun
before you go blind..Madness is a lamentation for those of us who came so close
to the prize..But, for some other reason we could not find..
Birds sing me a song, I hear in the distance, the wind blows gently
and clouds gather strength for the storm..The winter was long, cold, dead
and empty..The vernal equinox came and left so quickly..Cooler heads prevail..
force of will, logic and reason..
There's always a tale to tell of the Brave Ulysses..A hero, his journey--
the people he meets..Of conflict and resolution..Of the magnificent and the desolate..
Stories of myth and legend..of lessons learned and some yet to be taught..
Some people can be reached and others not..So, live your Life, until that fateful day comes--
