Poem 620 – Don’t be a Workaholic – Written on 5-14-14
Don’t be a workaholic!
It will destroy relationships
Don’t be a workaholic!
Take if from someone who knows
With a family member of mine
Being a workaholic, it about tore us about
Don’t be a workaholic!
I about never spoke to her again
Because I was so angry with her
For neglecting me for working all the time
But Praise God she has come back around
Because I wouldn’t know what to do without her
Don’t be a workaholic!
Don’t let your work consume you
And lose sight of what is important to you in life
Don’t be a workaholic!
Don’t let your work blind you
And cause you to lose those that
You are the closest too,
Don’t be a workaholic and have work consume you!
Work with dignity and respect enough for yourself and your children!
