You have faith, but I do good things,
Show me what blessings that faith brings;
What are the good things that you do,
That God considers good value.
I will show my faith onto you,
By all the good things that I do;
Because my faith is built on love,
That is flowing from up above.
You believe that there is one God,
Just one that we honor and laud;
The demons also believe it,
As they fear the Holy Spirit.
Do not ever be such a fool,
On faith only being the rule;
So why do you have to be shown,
Faith alone God does not condone.
Abraham nearly took the life,
Of his son Isaac with a knife;
Through his faith was to sacrifice,
But God stopped him to be precise.
Faith and merit worked together,
Just like the bird and a feather;
His faith was shown as very real,
Demonstrating he had the zeal.
We get from God upon His throne,
His approval that He does condone;
Acts through the faith that we have done,
And comes to us via the Son.
A body not breathing is dead,
Not responding to what is said;
The same for a faith that has lied,
Apart from works does nothing has died.
