Nearing Home

When we have traveled so far we always look to reach home.
Not the home place we left but the home place of our youth.
Nearing home we get excited and begin to  feel a weight has been lifted of our shoulders.
Why?
Because it, in most cases, has been a long drive to get to  the spot we loved so well while growing.
Nearing home is a special time for us to celebrate and be most happy.
May we never tire of going back to the old home place and seeing it again.
Knowing as we do there is a sense of adness to be associated.
Why?
Because we don't live there any longer and have moved onto other things.
There is a sense of rejoicing as wwell for the times of today may be better than they were.
