I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Lyle B. And the Love He Gave Me
Lyle was a wonderful man of whom my life was always full.
Though he has gone today doesn't preclude the love he gave me.
It was a brotherly type love that told me I was an okay guy.
I didn't have anything to be ashamed.
He took me from the depths of despair and gave me stability.
I will never forget the kind man he was to offer his love for me so freely.
The Lord put it within his heart to care for me and he did for a long time.
I am sure if he were alive today he would still be caring.
I am elated and overjoyed to know this love is something that was freely mine to share and he gave it willingly.
Bless you, Lyle , for being the man you were to all of us who knew you.
It is a joy to be loved by such a man as a brother to another.
