You struggle against sin,
But it has not killed you;
Because of discipline,
You persevere on through.
But have you forgotten,
The encouraging word;
When something smells rotten,
Fly away like a bird.
God speaks to His child,
To pay attention when;
God chastens when wild,
For your discipline then.
Do not ever give up,
Whenever He corrects;
Drink His love from His cup,
Your God never neglects.
For the Lord disciplines,
Always showing His love;
So whatever your sins,
God punishes thereof.
If you are His child,
He severely chastens;
Until reconciled,
As His judgment hastens.
Endure your discipline,
For God as your Father;
Anytime that you sin,
To you He will bother.
So if you ever have sinned,
You are not family;
If not been disciplined,
For your iniquity.
