Of all the words that come to mind
Of songs yet sung throughout all time
Yours will ring and reign in me
As my time nears to finally see
GOD, not myth, the one who saved
My wretched soul the world enslaved
Yet though I tend to look back then
More times than not when then was when
I turn again to what is now
That has begun to show me how
How to live after my death
Upon this earth when nothings left
Nothing worth to build upon
Nothing left of things bygone
For in your presence I am whole
Complete your work still to unfold
Before all eyes that now see me
As you have said and have decreed
That I am yours and write I will
Of you who told my heart to spill
Love in words not mine but yours
As I have learned love constant, pure
Though there are many, there is but one
The Morning Star who calls me son
The GOD who gave for me to be
To breathe this day so one could see
The power of love, mercy and majesty
