Nothing presents a day..
like coming to work on a Friday, that falls on the 13th..
Have it your way, even though we're not Burger King..
"Hold the onion, extra pickles if you please."
I'm neither bored nor amused, just watching and waiting..
and wanting to go home..
It's been a long day for sure..
It's been strange, and the Moon has yet to change it's course..
Conveniences and Consequences, Cause and Causality..
Measures and Monuments all for Man's vain glory..
Some happy faces, that pass through in daylight..
Some ignorant, some bold, some simple and others wanting to
be told..
Like capturing lightening in a bottle of champagne, and seizing
the cork off and spilling it over your shoulder, like so much rain..
Say yes to living and no to pain..I'm indulgent, like any other man..
..in acquiring more than what the moment allows..
If given the time, I could waste away the hours..
We could watch the Sun rise, the clouds part..and reveal to us,
the deepest blue..where the wind blows and the trees catch hold..
Where secrets are told, and nothing much matters anymore..
All for the sake of living, now that the moments are gone..
What we have waiting, is our great reward? And a chance at living,
