I Just Believe

I was not there to witness his miracles,
I did not see him walk on the sea,
I did not see him heal the sick,
Or witness him cure men of leprosy,
I was not one of the multitude fed,
Or was I there to see the lame walk.
I did not witness him rise from the dead.
Hear any of his speeches or talks,
Did not even see him calm the sea,
These things happen so long ago.
But somehow in Christ I believe.
I was not there in the garden at night.
Or on the green hill of Calvary,
I did not bask in his heavenly light.
But, his light still shines for me.
I did not witness any of his glory.
I heard no testimony from his saints.
I just truly believe in his story.
the picture of perfection he paints.
