The flames of an argument 11 syllables 11 lines

Spoken words, fuel the flame, in a heated moment.
Angry words, fly like embers from the grey color coal.
Smoke rings of feelings encircle the hazy mind.
Suffocate hope, replaced charred despair.
Flames of each hated syllable set ablaze.
Each punctuation like flame licking the hot air.
The hurtful words like bellows to burning embers.
Crackling sounds pour from the lips as though from a log.
Words send poisonous air deep within our lungs.
Ash turns to dust, words blow in the blusterous wind.
All from one heated word, fuels the flames of hate.
