God the Never Changing
Eternal Lord, hail to Thee!
Thou who changes not
as the centuries roll by.
Thou whose Word never alters,
stands forever
and as it stands,
so may we take
our stand on Thee.
The grass withers,
the flowers fade,
fads and fallacies march on
in unending procession,
science goes from
one paradigm to another
which may or may not be true
but Thy Word stands forever
Thou in whom there is
no variableness,
neither shadow of turning,
who changes not
for Thou, oh Lord,
are Truth indeed!
Praise be ever thine!
