NO FEAR

Lac's rolling on
"Laid back in that Florida sun"
Putting "chill on lock"
Here writing to the ticking
Of the old wall clock
As the pendulum swings
To its counting the tick-tock
Of The Lac's rolling on
No Fear in their song
Where I belong on this
Kitty-Corner from Florida
Piece of Northwest land
Where The Lac's
I understand
Just two boys singing with the band
Bringing out a day of music pleasure
The Lac's are my forever treasure
You have a choice
To cut down
The country rap
That comes around
One CD at a time
In Seattle
Back home them lugs rattle
In a mud hole
Until the mud's part of your soul
And no way
You can wash off that Georgia clay
Or so I'm told
Being bold
Just for today
It's The Lac's way
The narrow path
Where I laugh
Feel kick-ass strong
For what I long
That Southern Twang
Filtrating my brain
Deterring the pain
Of Seattle rain
As it ain't happening today
No way
Sun shining hot
Humidity high
The Lac's CD's I got
So Georgia sun has come
To Seattle skies.
