Devine Intervention

Been pushed around, I've been beat.
Have trouble standing, I feel so weak.
Been yelled at, been verbally abused.
Been walked all over, tired of being used.
When I try to stand up, end up falling down.
Now even my smile ends up like a frown.
Each of my emotions have gone crazy.
Memories of good times have gone hazy.
Floating day to day like a feather in the wind.
Seeing the finish line but end up where I begin.
I've been tripping on every stone placed in my path.
Happiness gone so long, can't remember my laugh.
Figure it's time to give up, take the final fall.
That's when some how I receive your call.
You tell me how much that you care; you care.
It's that moment, I finally get a breath of air.
You say you just felt like you needed to hear me.
Something in side of you said hear him speak.
We hadn't talked in what seems like forever.
Saying it's about time that we should get together.
You remind me of good times, the ones that have past.
Brought out a genuine smile, brought back a forgotten laugh.
You lifted up my spirits brought me back to life.
Turned up a gone wronged world turned it right.
How you ever knew, that I needed your call.
You saved me from giving up; giving up it all.
It took one call, one person who showed love.
That's all it took Devine intervention from up above.
