Wounded soul
Even though it's been so long,
my heart still sings your song.
I think of you everyday,
as my love for you fades away.
You left me broken and sore,
I don't want to hurt anymore.
We loved each other so hard back then,
I'm afraid I will never love again.
I wish I could reverse the role,
and leave you with a wounded soul.
Somewhere down the line,
You will be the one hurt this time.
