Remembering An Illustrious Man Named Lyle B.

My mind takes me to the time that Lyle passed away last year.
Prior to this time he was full of life and love for everyone who knew him.
The good and blessed part of the matter is that he cared for me as a brother and friend.
I am so enriched by having known Lyle B..
For the many things he shared with me were in all truth and sincerity.
Not once did he ever put me down about anything.
But was very liberal; in his feelings toward the work I have been doing as a poet.
It is so enriching and delightful to remember this great man and have the love I have for him today though he is gone.
This will NOT  take away the love I have for him in no wise.
To me, it is as if he is still very much alive for he is; in my heart and mind.
Lyle was one to not mix words with his feelings on a matter.
I love to think of him being here for seeing my dad and myself with his lifetime partner.
Each were the epitome of someone special to both Dad and myself.
We had made lasting friendships and kinships along the way.
It was a wonderful time for us.
