Wonderland
The shadows of approaching night
Steal across the landscape of your face
As amber sunlight illumines your oceanic eyes;
Beauty is shining all around you now,
The scent of roses carries on the summer breeze
As twilight enfolds you in its magic cloak.
We do not need words at this moment in time
Silent music flows between our hearts
And we find something real amidst illusions
Something stable amidst all the changes.
A great longing fills my whole being
For thoughts inexpressed and words unsaid,
We will never know the limits of our love,
It takes us deeper and deeper into dreams
And into a wonderland that will never end.
