Two Woman's Tears
Two woman weeping
in the front of the church
because a person came forward
to accept our Lord as Savior!
Tears!
Precious tears,
wrung from two loving hearts,
a sign of God's love!
Jesus Christ who weeps
for lost sinners.
The Waiting Father
who calls us to
come home to Him,
the Holy Spirit
moving in our hearts
to draw us to Him,
whose heart is so big,
whose love is so great
the translators had
to use double words
to encompass it:
the Lord of lovingkindness,
the God of tendermercies!
