of all the things that I had..
and all the things that I had to let go..
the possessions I had gathered..
the sentimentality the grace and sanctified
my treasured memories that took a physical form..
that so easily corrupts as time must take away..
and every achievement, for the beauty I see..
and only my eyes can see..
fire is the great liberator of a happiness so pure..
so purifying a joy the sadness comes when you try to hold on..
like a mill stone wrapped gently around my neck
with a rope made of velvet..
the indecent the perverse manner of my enjoyment..
a sparkling of diamond mixed in with milk..
reality needs no witness and every crime has a criminal..
and justice is blind to those who must walk the line..
of all the things that have been said and done..
and every time I see the setting sun..
could quite well be for the last time..
epic hypocrites and pointed fingers of blame
insecurities and weak minded fools of mediocre fame..
of all the things that I'll miss the most in Life..
one thing I won't miss is the pain..
slayer of dragons and heroes that save the day..
to be remembered by someone for something..
grande and remarkable..is it so much to ask?
