Visions
God is Eternal
Before all things,
Thou were supreme,
transcendent ,
above all, before all,
before time, eternal.
You spoke and
by your word
time began,
time which, one day,
shall be no more!
Thou, the Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end!
The grass withers,
the flower fades,
Thy Word, Thy being, Thy Truth,
is forever!
Thy laws of nature,
sustained by Thee,
make science and
all human knowledge possible
and give peace to troubled souls.
Eternity is no human notion
but an intuition of
God's image in our hearts!
Thou who made us for Thyself!
Eternal forever,
sharing eternity with all
who believe Thy Word,
whose names are written
in The Book of Life!
"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God." Psalm 90:2 KJV
