Poem 607 – The man who gave it all – Written 4-15-14
The man who gave it all came as a sinless Lamb into this world for our sakes
The man who gave it all His precious name is Jesus Christ, Yeshua!
The man who gave it all when His life was fully committed
To His Father our God up above!
The man who gave it all took the time to come down
From Heaven to Earth to meet us just where we are!
The man who gave it all took the time to teach those who would hear!
The man who gave it all took the time to heal the sick and bring back the dead!
The man who gave it all took the time to heal the broken hearted
He took my broken heart and made it a new!
The man who gave it all took the time to spend time
With His heavenly father, praying and seeking the words to say
The actions to do the have been recorded again and again
In history by many who had witnessed first hand the miracles of Jesus!
The man who gave it all fasted and prayed
How much more should we connect with the father up above!
The man who gave it all not only ministered to adults
Or the older generations but humbled himself in humility
To speak to young and the restless the children,
If he found them so precious how much more should we?
The man who gave it all has the ultimate authority
He has blessed us with the honor of being called
Sons and daughters of the King!
The man who gave it all died for us, rose from the grave
All for us – What a privilege that could ever bestowed upon us
The man who gave it all will be praised for scriptures say that
Even rocks will cry out to Your great name!
The man who gave it all can by your salvation
If only you surrender to Him. What are you willing to do for
The man who gave it all for you?
