Vacation of Paradise
Poem 627 – Vacation of Paradise – Written 6-22-14
Vacation of paradise started off on an early Thursday morning
With a ride up to my sweet prince charming house
To reload but in another vehicle
Day 1 of vacation of paradise:
Leaving all my cares behind
Just to enjoy a vacation
With my prince and his family
Vacation of paradise
Embraces the sweet essence
Of the great out doors
To the fall extent that sounds of
Lake Michigan brings peace to a weary old mind….
Vacation of paradise
Entailed the beauty
Of watching our first sunset on
Our own private beach
Vacation of paradise
Arises from every moment
Of calmness that the mysterious waters
Portray the essence of bliss
Vacation of paradise
Continued with comfortable
Beds in separate rooms
Vacation of paradise
Awoke the second day
To come to find that the
Plans of going out
On the pontoon boat
Was not going to happen
Due to the silliness of Michigan weather!
Vacation of paradise consisted of walking
Around a semi-small town called White Lake
Vacation of paradise enjoyed shopping, walking,
Some biking, and playing outside in creation
Vacation of paradise we played:
1). Basketball
2). Shuffle Board
3). Tennis
Vacation of paradise Day 3: Day of Seas
Aside from enjoying the great outdoors
My body wanted to reject it, a little sleep
And the sleeping princess
Awoke a new and continued their vacation
Vacation of paradise Day 4: Home we go
The traveling is a pain but
We win some and lose some
It is part of life!
Vacation of paradise
Will be one we will remember
And keep treasured in our hearts
For our 11th Month Anniversary
Of dating was truly a vacation of paradise
Vacation of paradise through the ups and downs
We shall recall the silliness of vacations
Even with photo memories
Vacation of paradise trips to see the
Family Fergusons I will forever treasure!
Truly, truly I say to you
Vacation of paradise will never be over
As long as I am with my sweetheart
