Gripping Relapse Of the Past

Poem 638 – Gripping relapse of the past – Written 7-1-14

Anger out burst from an
Unruly gripping relapse
Of the past is killing me
Secrets and secrets hurts me
 From the inside out
Needless and pins stick me
Daggers and knives cut deeply
Because of the pain from
Deceitful secrets that had been hidden from
A family member about another family member having cancer
I sadly found out when it was too late
When Nana died of cancer, the pain
The anger intensified as the words
Had been told to me and I broke from the
Gripping relapse of the past
With an anger outburst to those in the room
To those three innocent ounces my anger
Was frustration ticking time bomb
From past and present and for that I apologize
The anger I felt was building and building
Escalating higher and higher until Mama Kathy pulled
Me back to tell me to calm down
Gripping relapse of the past
Caused anger out burst
