The Last picture to place in your mind,
hangs heavy on the wall..
And each moment that passes by,
beckons to us one and all..
The Past--is a recent memory,
some fond and others best forgotten..
The Present--is a moment,
that we can breathe in and out of..
The Future--is waiting,
like a movie anticipating an audience
to take their seat and start the show..
I'd like to think the past is waving
Good-bye, the people, maybe in black
and white, maybe in tin-type..
Wishing you and me a safe journey..
--Or, maybe..just to say hello..
And the future arrives, like a train
on time--The conductor is destiny..
The steel rails are a time line
and the train itself is your body..
In it's most perfect form..
in motion and purpose..
