Always writing but why am I
I have often pondered the reason
And I have questioned my purpose
Over and over again…
A possible reason why is because it is
Possible is due to being a God-given talent
Always writing but why am I
I may not understand nor comprehend
But behind it all there must be a reason
Always writing but why am I
I try to come up with a reason
Why and yet I am confined to
Not having a reason why
And somehow in my mind I am okay with that
Always writing, but why am I always writing?
