Poem 694 – Trust in the talents God has given you – written 8-15-14
Trust in the talents God has given you
No matter what trust Him
Trust in the talents God has given you
For me it has been in an essence to be creative:
Creative in the sense of writing, musical melody, and making blankets of comfort
Trust in the talents God has given you
A friend of mine has reached out to me
She is also is a poetess like myself
Except she keeps her work in the shadows
If she trusted God in the talents she has
Been graced with she would know
That to share with other poets is okay
And she should not be scared too!
Dear friend of mine I tell you,
When you open your heart and trust
In your own work – you will not care
What others will say rather its negative or positive
Trust in the talents God has given you
Great or small He will bless you!
