An Unopened Book

Fallen So Bad

It's a midnight cafe.
A late dinner alone.
This cold cup of coffee,
Doesn't warm my soul.
It's been three long days,
Since we had first met.
Our first loving touch,
How could I forget.
Cause I have fallen so bad.
This is truly the greatest,
Feeling that I've ever had.
Never have I fallen in love.
Would never let it go that far.
Never knew I was dreaming of.
I was wishing on falling stars.
I ask should I rush in,
Should I try and hold back.
Let this adventure begin.
Should I approach with tact.
It's been four long days,
Since the day we first met,
The look in her eyes,
How could I ever forget.
Phone in a shaking hand.
Numbers staring at me.
Trying hard to understand.
What this could really be.
An answer on the other end.
Does she remember,
The perfect day we met.
Our first loving kiss,
How could she forget.
Cause I have fallen,
Fallen so hard, so bad.
With her I have the greatest.
Feeling I have ever had.
I finally have fallen in love.
I really let it go that far.
I finally got one wish,
Made on a falling star.
