Never Leave a Poor Man In the Gutter

If you happen to see a poor man lying; in the gutter pull him out.
Don't allow him to remain there and think nothing of it.
For the shoe could be on the other foot and you'd need the help.
Fight for what is right; in this world and give the poor man a shot at life.
Don't drive it from him and pretend you are right when you'd be dead wrong.
Give the help that you'd expect to receive from a similar situation.
Allow the Lord to take the preeminence and control of our life.
Showing the right way to go and to do toward another who needs our help.
Give an ounce of caring for the person who is down and don't trample him.
Thinking, knowing, that you are right when you are so wrong.
Give the poor man a new lease on life by helping him to get out of the gutter.
This is the way to be for all people not only the fortunate ones who have a life.
