The Incomparable and Steadfast Love of Lyle B.

There is a dear man of whom I am so blessed and loved by that I hated to have to say goodbye to sometime over a year ago.
This dear man is none other than Lyle B..
He had given his life for his country and served it well.
Retiring from the service, he became a homemaker.
Did the things that a wife would do but all; in a manly fashion.
Was an excellent cook and knew how to many things.
Labored hard and long to help keep the home going that he had.
He shared it with his lifetime partner and they made a go of it for thirty-one years.
Today he is laid to rest and the lifetime partner will follow him to the same spot.
But this is many  years down the road as far as I know and hope it is right in assuming this is true.
To have to do without the two together would be a hardship I don't know if I could handle it well or not.
But the love of Lyle was always there and the heart of a man was as strong as I have ever seen.
There is no question but what he is; in the pearly gates and waiting for us to get there.
Bless you, Lyle B., for being the man you are and were to all.
