Jessie and Beatrice Take A Sunday Drive

Today is a freedom day for the two as they get; in the car and drive.
They are looking for the ocean and feel the warm waters under a blue sky.
Happily, they go by the country road to get to the beach.
Hearing the chapel bells ringing they give a silent prayer to the Lord for the day.
Leaning out the window, as the breeze blows her hair, Beatrice is captivated by the smell of the honeysuckle and see the vines on the fence.
Getting excited about having the day to themselves they ponder the happenings of the day.
Being that it is Sunday, they will give a time to the Lord upon their arrival at the beach.
Happy times are theirs for the taking as the beach is less populated since it is somewhat cooler than during summer.
There seems to be music coming from the boardwalk as they get closer.
It is so true for Patti Labelle is singing; in the background.
Happy times are theirs for the asking as they relax on the beach and enjoy the sun.
Knowing as the day is winding down they will soon have to get on the road.
