The Power of the Tongue
Brings life and death by speaking
Just a few simple little words
The Power of the Tongue
Is in the words with which you speak
One may even say that
One's heart is likely to break
When the power of the tongue
Is used to tear someone down
By back-biting or gossiping about the other
The Power of the Tongue
Can lead to a blessing or a curse
Depending on how the tongue is used
