Nine Years and Eight Months Ago

Nine years and eight months ago I lost my dear and beloved dad.
He was required to give up his soul to the Lord on February 1st.
I was there in the same room with Dad when he passed away.
It was a sad time of course for me and for the ones that loved Dad.
Ervin, my brother, took it in stride and didn't show any emotion.
I had little emotion but did cry some.
Am not able to cry as I once did for Mom for it hurt me so badly with her passing and now Dad on top of  Mom's passing.
I know where they are today and am blessed with the knowing of where they are.
Dad was a factory worker for most of his life and did very well for himself.
I honor the passing of my dad today three days later for I am slow at times in doing what I should.
This doesn't mean I love Dad any less than I did Mom for I loved them equally.
May God continually bless you, Dad, and may you look for me one day up there.
I dearly love you and will go on loving you too.
