Embraceable Love Was Ours

The love we shared was an embraceable love that never stopped.
Time seemed to fly by when we held each other; in an amorous way.
Happiness was very much a part of our lives and a joy unlike any other was there as well.
The relationship was good for about six months and then the embers began to die.
It was a time of regrettable pain and suffering.
The plans we had made together for a time on the water was nothing but a myth.
For it never happened and the sorrow was insurmountable.
The Lord had other plans for us separately and this is what happened.
Pain ensued and remained to be a part of our lives for a long time.
Before there was an embraceable love that was ours to share and we did all the times we would meet.
I miss those days of being with you and for us to share what two hearts can only share.
There was a love that was present for a time and dissipated as the embers began to burn themselves out.
