These things called floaters
We always going to be friends?
Eye Doctor says beginning Macro something
Wanting me to wear shades
To protect my eyes from Sunshine
That's what I want to see with all this rain
Hasn't that Dude looked outside
Or tried to watch the news
All they talk about every minute or two
The weather--the weather--in two minutes change?
Isn't that like wearing a hat,
Because your hair is beginning to thin?
So far they say I needed operation on knees
Possible skin cancer on face
Prostate concerns chemo I might have to erase
I was going to donate my body as brand new
Three times already they said I was dying
Getting old is really on a whole trying
One thing want to do is spit in the face
of the grim reaper
I'm only sticking around to see the kids play sports
Other than that old age has body out of sorts
OH, it is pouring outside weatherman reports
Can I take off these sunglasses so I can see?
OK, for another year we well put away summer shorts
One thing I can still do is hear,
"What did you say dear!"
But at this age it is selective hearing I fear
Forgot to put the garbage out--time for another beer.
One thing good about being old is being retired
But it is not fun having all body parts rewired
It should have been the other way around
You know, Be retired when young enough to enjoy it
And work when you are too old to do anything fun
OH oh she's yelling louder had to run
