Away out in the bush in Australia
They think the birds don't know
But they are not as wild and stupid
As some think they are it's so
Here was I sitting on the front veranda
Just reading with my pipe awhile
And along across the lawn came a big gallar
And looked at me with style
i said what are you looking at you stupid gallar
It shook it'd head and looked me in the eye
And said You listen to me you great galoot
You don't even know at all how to fly
It said I've been to all the bush gatherings
With all that beer and wild pig barbecue
All those drunk as a skunk Aussies there
And they all remind me just of you
Call me a stupid gallar will ya
Have you looked in the mirror mate of late
When I leave here I'm not stupid
I don't even have to shut the bloody gate.
