~Halloween – Devil's Avenue~
Halloween is the Devil's Avenue
Every year kids and even parents dress up in costumes
In their innocence they just want candy like everyone else
But sadly the truth is there is a deeper meaning behind it all
Halloween is the Devil's Avenue
One may ask how Halloween the Devil's Avenue
And how is the Devil involved in this?
Since the beginning this day of the year
Called Halloween, is actually short for
“All Hallows Evening” or “All Hallows Eve”
Halloween started originally in the
Ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain (sah-win)
This is a time used by the ancient pagans
It was assumed that the living and dead overlapped
On this evening and would cause the dead to come back to life
And cause havoc with sickness or damaged crops
Halloween is the Devil's Avenue
With Trick-or-Treating even within its own history
Children would dress up in masks and costumes to mimic evil spirits
States that “Trick” part of the “Trick or Treat”
Was to threaten the homeowner or his property if no treat was given
Halloween the Devil's Avenue
Unfortunately is a worldwide holiday
Reason behind the Devil being involved is obvious
It is behind the wording of evil spirits
In addition to the mention of “Souls Day”
Luckily in America the souling aspect of Halloween has not been practiced
Need I go on with how Halloween is the Devil's Avenue
