Haven woken ever so early with no work today
Then walking out to see dark clouds far away..
With lighter clouds they covering the sky above
A cold chill in the air sweeps this valley of love..
Across this ever distant valley so vast the view
Seems the morning sunshine it has a day off too..
One lone bird away slowly flies as if heading home
High but ever faintly it moves so slowly but alone..
Gently breezes all lingering slowly from as if all around
As a cry of rooster it breaks the dead silence of sound..
The lighter clouds now turning to darker clouds above
And the country colors sol now faded all hand in glove..
No farm animals in sight all within shelter of their own
An early morning that's lost it's brighter view of home..
There's rain seeming to await as clouds grey they debate
And small drops of moisture fall from the garden gate..
Soon returning to a place of such warmth and rest
Allowing this day to play it's very own symphony best..
As the silence only now broken by stronger wind in trees
A grey day today that needs no help at all from me..
