Visions

Thanking Our God

Stormy winds blow,
we shall have snow,
the days shorten,
the cold will strengthen.
The crops are all gathered in,
folk in their homes are snug within.
Thanks to God for all our blessings!
For life and health,
for providential miracles,
some known, some not,
angels guarding, Satan thwarted!
For answering prayer,
for making a way where no way was,
for wants and wishes supplied,
for the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ,
God's love for undeserving sinners, like me,
That last enemy, Death, conquered,
Life Eternal, life worthy of Eternity,
clothed in righteousness not ours but His!
Praise God from whom all goodness flows.
praise Him all His children here below!
