The things I see that has one wonder often over time
I see so many rewarded for the most simple things..
Knowing there are many in life that never get thanks
For unknowingly doing so much that happiness it brings..
In every day life one cannot help but to notice much
And one sees lots of things that has one really wonder..
All within a world of ever so very much confusion
And all that it seems that not a lot see as a blunder..
Often in the news paper a guy gets a medal as a hero
For simply diving into the water and saving a life..
Another guy defends someone in trouble along the way
And is noted ever so as a hero saving one from strife..
And then stop to think how many like myself old school
All having done the likes of this so many times its true..
None ever never wanting to be called any sort of a hero
For doing exactly what any decent soul at the time would do..
And then I as well think of those women with children at home
Those who have lived a life of total abuse for simply years..
Because having been married for ages to a complete mongrel
And her there hanging in there for children in a home of tears..
I as well think about all those who for life have walked the line
Without at all being loved who have given to so many their all..
And all of those in life who are the most silent of achievers
Spending their lives not being known but answering another's call..
I think of all who simply being a mother what they do for life
Without being given medals or without often even lots of praise..
My knowing too when a woman marries she as well adopts a son
That very often since being a boy has never changed his ways..
I think of all who for years and years have bitten the bullet
With an illness that eventually terminal hanging over their head..
And ever so many that are so real in life that exist its true
That live a life of all from broken hearts and sorrow instead..
So many I see all the time with endless woe but never complain
And I so admire them being as they have been and are in life..
These are to myself the hero's for their endurance of so much
More than doing as all should who saves another from a strife..
