I am merely a man,
That knows of suffering;
Of fury that God can,
Without a buffering.
God did drive me away,
Made me walk in the dark;
Where I have gone astray,
Immorally embark.
And God beats me again,
Each and every day;
My bones have broken when,
As my flesh wastes away.
God attacked surrounding me,
With jaundice and hardship;
Caused blindness cannot see,
Swelling of tongue and lip.
So I live in darkness,
As who died long ago;
And struck by the starkness,
Of the justice to know.
But I still find the hope,
Keeping one thing in mind;
Enduring as to cope,
Being humbled and kind.
For the mercy of God,
We should never hold doubt;
For to honor and laud,
Since we are not wiped out.
Compassion is not set,
For a certain amount;
So no need for to fret,
His love is paramount.
It is new with each dawn,
His faithfulness is great;
For love is never gone,
As it will compensate.
All I say for this life,
Is the hope for my soul;
To compensate the strife,
Since Heaven is my goal.
