In this life of forgiving others;
We must also learn to forget, my brothers.
For it is easy to forgive you see;
But forgetting comes hard for you and me!
For when we forgive, we must also erase;
So in our life we give the devil no place!
For when he finds, we remember you see;
He will bring back the same feelings to you and me!
For when we remember what we forgave;
He can cause our hearts ungodly to behave!
And through remembering he can cause us to fall;
To throw up our hands and say forget it all!
Forget our lives in God you see;
This is what satin wants of you and me!
So we must forget all that we have have forgave;
So ungodly in our life, we won't behave!
So when satin begins to bring back the past;
Remember to forget and the memory won't last!
