Seeing the Rainfal Makes Me Feel Lugubrious

The day of my mom's passing started out with it being sunny.
However, the clouds began to emerge and fill the sky.
My sweet cousin and I had gone to the gazebo for a smoke when the rains came.
It began raining and for the rest of the day it continually rained.
Many things had to be done at this time and point about Mom.
Looking out the window it still remained to rain.
An intense sorrow filled my heart as I heard from Mom's doctor.
The doctor brought with her dissension for her words were cruel and disheartening.
It was  a day I had to remain; in the hospital for I was sick at the time.
Getting out the next day or so I was saddened to find Mom wouldn't be coming home.
This is a true part of my life which actually happened
I do feel better today for I know where Mom is and will be for all time.
So, when I see a rainy day I am transported back to the day of Mom's leaving.
Hardly is there a time when I am not lugubrious of this time for it is most of the time this way
I do wonder if there will be any rainy days in Heaven or are there now any there.
