Who is it?~~
that is called, "The Devil"~~
Who is it, that so many people
point their finger to..
And say,
"He made me do it.."
"For I'm not the responsible person,
it was all the fault of some uncontrollable beast,
some sinister animal, that made me commit
some unspeakable crime, some hideous example,
that of being human.."
~~that if I told you, the reason why, it
would make you blush at first, turn your head
side-ways, and say, "He had it coming~~
for any idiot could see, that Man is still a beast,
Still swinging from a tree, with no conscious thought,
about who he hurts and who he loves,
Or, whether or not, there is a God.."
So many stories have been told, and so many people claim
to believe there's some reasonable mystery that can be solved..
if one has enough of what they call "faith"..Take it as Gospel,
that goodness prevails and the wicked all perish down below
in a place called "Hell"..Rewards are given to the innocent,
and guilt weighs heavy the burdened soul, like a mill stone
around one's own neck, all time can say, and all time that
erodes away the hours lost, so that even a King cannot
betray his own destiny, with all the Gold and Silver,
and sand slips away through the glass,~~
I wonder what joy can be found, 6 feet under the ground..
Living after in an afterlife, where you seek paradise,
for the goodness of promises, and redemptive behavior..
Life makes criminals out of every man, woman and child~~
